HOW DID I DRAW THIS?! (also minor OC Introduction)

I don't know how this came out so well......and I may never be able to top this.....

I was just trying to practice drawing my newest OC, Maxwell, in a battle pose, when I ended up drawing him like this.....I....I don't know how I did this....

Since this is also technically the first time I'm introducing this character, I briefly explain who he is...

As I said before, his name is Maxwell, he currently works as Nightshade's butler, Night hired him since she needed a butler to handle the messes that she had neglected to clean up around her house....

Anyway, I'll have a full description and reference sheet for this character soon, I've been busy dealing with other things.....
